So the British crybullies of the informal tranny-protection league have been able to collect another scalp, in having comedian and writer Graham Linehan arrested for Badthink/Bad-Xing in the USA the very minute that the man set foot back in Britain. Nice work, chaps – but the insistence that the UK is still a free and tolerant First World countries is a pretense wearing ever thinner, after reading of incidents such as this. Few of those so detained are anything like as well-known as Linehan, who was charged with saying mean things on ‘X’ while in the US about confused or scheming men who get their jollies dressing in women’s clothes and invading female spaces. Most of those otherwise ordinary British citizens who have been visited, cautioned, or charged by representatives of the law have been so honored for objecting in various online fora to the luxurious free welcomes given at government expense to migrants. Especially when the migrants then turn around and annoy local residents with every kind of unwelcome behavior from sexually harassing females of all ages, rape, strong-arm robbery and murder. Funny old world, that – the ordinary otherwise law-abiding, rule-following, tax paying citizens tend to get a bit miffed when this happens … again and again and again.

Toleration for migrant crime and offensive behavior among normal, working folk, owners of modest homes and residents in neighborhoods where this and worse has been going on has reached the ‘no more’ line, if what I have been seeing in UK media is any indication. That would be the ‘no more’ line beyond which it would extremely hazardous for a government to push, which likely is why Starmer and his ilk are so frantically keen to squash such opinionating. The authorities, the well-to-do, and the official media creatures who are all about wrapping the migrants in a warm sappy blanket of luxurious affection don’t ever seem to suffer when their cherished pets go on a criminal rampage.
It’s all rather like the happy, upper-class residents of Martha’s Vinyard being OK with illegal immigrants, as long as those immigrants stay in someone elses’ neighborhood, preferably far, far from Martha’s Vinyard, unless it’s being paid under the table to mow the lawn or dust the antiques. The privileges and advantaged classes also appear to hold those ordinary, tax-paying working citizens who object to paying for the warm sappy blanket in the deepest contempt, just like their American counterparts feel about Maga-ites – and that is just all the more galling. There was this report a few days ago, about a camera crew from the BBC being driven away from an anti-migrant protest, so I would guess that the anti-migrant protesting citizens know darned well whose’ side their national establishment media is on, (And it isn’t theirs. Our very own dear Establishment Media holds ordinary Americans in the same contempt as well, although I have yet to hear of a CNN, NPR, or CBS news crew driven away from a pro-Trump gathering.)

Yet another indication that the ‘no more’ line is close to being breached was in another story – again, on the Daily Mail: the owners of an upscale boutique hotel in Britain categorically refused a government cash offer to house migrants. The owners were indignant; well, basically their business is doing well enough, but they would have to cancel all upcoming reservations, fire most of their staff, and face the prospect of their place being trashed … and their neighbors being very, very, very upset with them, likely for years. It’s been hinted in various blogs that the expense of benefits and housing for migrants in Britian is becoming economically insupportable. So – funds and toleration running dry at about the same time.
Interesting times, indeed. I wonder if the audience at the Proms will still be singing Blake’s “Jerusalem” on the last night of the Proms next year.

(Note: Blake’s poem, set to music is a reference to a legend; that Christ journeyed to Cornwall as a boy with his uncle, Joseph of Arimathea, a merchant who is supposed to have had an interest in the tin mines. Those mines are known to have been worked in Roman times. While there, Jesus built a chapel dedicated to his mother, Mary, at Glastonbury. I added this to the post as there are things which I have always thought were common knowledge, but which have turned out to be esoteric matters…)
