John Mayer’s Continuum. I know it’s pop, but this guy can play.
The Fray’s How to Save a Life. Haunting. Very haunting. Gets under my skin kind of haunting.
Israel Kamakawiwo’ole’s Facing Future. First heard Bruddah Iz everywhere in Hawaii (not live, he’d passed by the time we got there) and this album just does not get old. I know it’s sacrilege to some, but his is THE version of Over the Rainbow.
Sam Moore’s Overnight Sensational. The Sam from Sam and Dave with guests. Sweet album. I like this trend of older artists working with younger. Gives me hope.
Bonnie Raitt and Friends Live. Same reason as immediately above. She and Nora Jones need to do a LOT more together.

Not sure about what I’m hearing off Sam’s Town, The Killers’ new album. What do you all think? I like it, but it doesn’t sound like The Killers to me.

Those of you with long memories might wonder what I think of the new Evanescence album, The Open Door. Let’s just say I’m still listening to Fallen. I don’t know why you’d write one song 13 different ways, but they did. I’m still a fan, but I’m very disappointed.
